DELRIN®570 20% Glass-Filled B.I.R.S. Machine distributes Delrin® 570 in Sheet, Rod,Tube, and Machined Parts. This grade has 20% glass fiber filler intended for general and industrial applications. Delrin® Glass-Filled provides the same basic properties as Delrin®, it has much greater mechanical properties and strength over unfilled Acetal or Delrin®. Delrin® Glass-Filled is a tough material that provides the added advantages of greater stiffness, improved creep resistance, low warping and higher dimensional stability than Delrin® because it possesses surface characteristics of Teflon®. Parts designed using glass-filled will demonstrate good impact resistance, low deformation under load and high fatigue endurance which has low creep for superior part performance. Delrin® Glass Filled is an excellent choice for its long-term mechanical stability in applications such as anti-friction parts. Bearings, Gears and Parts requiring greater stiffness is ideal for Delrin® Glass Filled. Electrical Components and other close tolerance precision components and fuel system parts.
