Mylar® D or Polyethyylene Terephthalate (PET), is a strong, heat resistant, 

and electrically insulating film which is treated on both sides to give it 

outstanding slip and handling qualities. This clear, brilliant material is ideal 

for metallising and applications that require superior optical properties. 

Approved by the US Library of Congress for archiving and conservation.
