TIN (Titanium Nitride) - General purpose - low heat. Good lubricity.

TiCN (Titanium Carbonitrade) - Good abrasion resistance. Recommended for aluminum, brass and bronze applications. Low heat resistance - good lubricity

TiAIN (Titanium Aluminum Nitride) - Multi-layer coating with good thermal stability for increased speeds and feeds. For semi-dry cutting of most steels, high-nickel alloys, stainless steel and cast iron. Excellent heat resistance, good lubricity. For materials that are 40Rc and under.

AITiN (Aluminum Titanium) - A single-layer coating whose hardness, oxidation resistance and thermal stability were optimized for material hardness above 38Rc and high-speed machining of materials that are difficult to work including titanium alloys and inconel.

ALUMASTAR (Titanium Diboride - TiB2) - A thin film coating with a low affinity for aluminum, ideal for machining aluminum alloys. The resistance to adhesion of aluminum allows higher speeds and feeds. Coating thickness is intentionally kept lower in order to maintain a sharp edge.

CRYSTALLINE DIAMOND (CVD) - Improved productivity in composite materials. Excellent choice for cutting graphite and fiberglass. Can be added to a special tool for milling or drilling applications.

AICrN (Aluminum Chromium) - Aluminum Chromium-based coatings have excellent wear resistance, thermal shock stability, and hot hardness. Well suited for Titanium, Inconel, and Carbon Fiber machining.

HARDLUBE - Multi-layer coating with thermal stability and lubricating properties needed for the drilling of steels, high-nickel alloys, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum, brass, and bronze. Excellent heat resistance, great lubricity.

TiAIN-based - Greater abrasion resistance, extra shear strength, lower adhesion tendency, maximum toughness and very smooth surface achieve a quantum leap in drilling performance. This coating is particularly advantageous for carbide drills. With its unique nanostructure, TiAIN plus AICrN, it boosts productivity in various materials.

Anti-Static Polycarbonate is a plastic sheet product designed to control static electricity for a wide range of  end uses. It is a premium quality polycarbonate sheet which has been surfaced with a proprietary, clear, static dissipative surfacing. The Anti-Static coating technology prevents charge generation on the sheet surfaces, thereby controlling particulate attraction and preventing electrostatic discharge (ESD) events. This performance is permanent and totally independent of humidity. Anti-Static Polycarbonate offers exceptional design versatility since it fabricates simply, is light in weight and is available in large sheet sizes. It also exhibits excellent clarity and chemical resistance, plus superior impact resistance, flame spread properties, and bending characteristics.

Applications for Anti-Static Polycarbonate resists tribo charging under all circumstances and cannot generate a charge when properly grounded. This makes Anti-Static Polycarbonate ideal for use in manufacturing and assembly operations for charge sensitive electronic components where it can help prevent both immediate

and latent ESD caused defects. Since Anti-Static Polycarbonate resists charge build-up it does not attract contaminants, so it can also help prevent contamination-related rejects in ultra-clean manufacturing operations. Anti-Static Polycarbonate it is suitable for use in the semi-conductor, electronic, and micro-manufacturing industries.

Typical custom fabricated Polycarbonate Anti-Static applications include contoured panels and fabricated items which require heat bending, such as; guards, covers, windows, doors, and access panels for electronic equipment, assembly machines and instruments; conveyor line covers and shields; and equipment enclosures. The product also has many general industrial uses, including protection for static charge sensitive manufacturing devices and control of spark discharge in explosive environments.

Turning is a machining process in which a cutting tool, typically a non-rotary tool bit, describes a helical tool path by moving more or less linearly while the workpiece rotates. The tool's axes of movement may be literally a straight line, or they may be along some set of curves or angles, but they are essentially linear (in the non-mathematical sense). Usually the term "turning" is reserved for the generation of external surfaces by this cutting action, whereas this same essential cutting action when applied to internal-surfaces (that is, holes, of one kind or another) is called "boring". Thus the phrase "turning and boring" categorizes the larger family of (essentially similar) processes. The cutting of faces on the workpiece (that is, surfaces perpendicular to its rotating axis), whether with a turning or boring tool, is called "facing", and may be lumped into either category as a subset.

Turning can be done manually, in a traditional form of lathe, which frequently requires continuous supervision by the operator, or by using an automated lathe which does not. Today the most common type of such automation is computer numerical control, better known as CNC. (CNC is also commonly used with many other types of machining besides turning.)

Milling is the machining process of using rotary cutters to remove material from a workpiece advancing (or feeding) in a direction at an angle with the axis of the tool.  It covers a wide variety of different operations and machines, on scales from small individual parts to large, heavy-duty gang milling operations. It is one of the most commonly used processes in industry and machine shops today for machining parts to precise sizes and shapes. The original class of machine tools for milling was the milling machine (often called a mill).

After the advent of computer numerical control (CNC) milling machines evolved into machining centers (milling machines with automatic tool changers, tool magazines or carousels, CNC control, coolant systems, and enclosures), generally classified as vertical machining centers (VMCs) and horizontal machining centers (HMCs).
